Michelle grew up in a horse racing family and from an early age knew she would be an equine vet. She joins the team in July 2021 after completing her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Sydney. She is a California native and completed her undergraduate studies at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo before moving to Sydney.

 

Michelle has previously worked in Lexington, Kentucky at an equine referral hospital and has recently completed an internship at an equine clinic in Greater Sydney where she further developed an interest in lameness investigation, internal medicine and reproduction.

 

In her spare time, she fosters through the RSPCA and enjoys playing tennis, camping and time at the beach with her fiancée.

 

Michelle is excited to be a part of the busy Illawarra Equine Centre practice and looks forward to exploring the South Coast and discovering all of the amazing coastal walks it has to offer.
