In 2024 we welcomed Dr Imogen Thomas to our veterinarian team.

​

Imogen grew up in Wales, UK where her love of horses began at a young age. In 2017 she qualified with a Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Medicine and Science from the University of Nottingham. During her studies she completed various equine externships around the UK and at the Rood and Riddle Equine Hospital in Kentucky, USA.

 

After qualifying Imogen completed a busy 18-month internship at a large equine hospital in North Yorkshire working closely with specialists in Surgery, Medicine, Anesthesia and Reproduction. Following completion of her internship she returned to Wales to work as an ambulatory veterinarian for a large equine practice. Here she treated a variety of equines from sports horses to happy hackers and developed her skills in all areas of ambulatory practice.

Imogen has a particular interest in emergency medicine, dentistry and lameness, as well as reproduction.

​

Outside work Imogen enjoys running, surfing, walking her dog Bea and catching up with friends.
