Dr Marie-Camille Repecaud DVM
Marie joined the veterinary team at Illawarra Equine Centre in January 2026.
Marie grew up in Vendee in France, and studied veterinary medicine at VetArgo Sup university in Lyon, graduating in 2017. After graduating she then completed a 12-month rotating internship in Normandy in France, mostly dealing with broodmares, foals, young horses and trotters.

Follwing this she moved to Wales to work at Cotts Equine Hospital in Pembrokeshire for 3 years, doing ambulatory work in all areas of veterinary medicine, dealing mostly with pleasure and show horses.
March 2022, she moved to Ballarat and worked as an associate vet for almost 4 years, dealing with a wide range of cases out in the field, while also looking after hospitalized patients from race horses to miniature ponies. In that time, she was responsible for most of the breeding work, which her my main area of interest.
Marie also enjoys medical cases, lamenesses and imaging.
Outside work, she really enjoys surfing, running and swimming and has recently decided to challenge herself by competing in a triathlon.
